Okanagan Crush Pad
The Personality of Okanagan Wine
Okanagan Crush Pad, in beautiful Summerland, in the Okanagan Valley, BC, overlooks the sustainably-farmed Switchback Vineyard and Okanagan Lake. The focus for Okanagan Crush Pad is simply to make wines that are the purest possible expression of where they come from.
A BC winery like no other, Okanagan Crush Pad is home to house brands Haywire and Bartier Scholefield, and makes wine for many other BC vintners. The winery is owned by Christine Coletta and Steve Lornie, and Michael Bartier is the much-lauded, and talented winemaker. To provide an international perspective, Okanagan Crush Pad partner David Scholefield engages with internationally-acclaimed Italian consulting winemaker Alberto Antonini and Chilean terroir specialist Pedro Parra.
